Jill Marie Jones is one of the most charismatic American actresses and a former professional dancer and cheerleader. She is known for her role in the syndicated Paramount Network comedy series Girlfriends (TV series, 2000-2006). She has appeared in numerous films and had the recurring role of Cynthia Owen on the Fox supernatural drama series Sleepy Hollow (TV, 2013-2017).

From 2015 to 2016, she played Amanda Fisher in the Starz horror comedy series Ash vs. Evil Dead (TV series). She attended Duncanville High School and Texas Woman’s University. She was a cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys for two years and a dancer for the Dallas Mavericks for one year.

Jones also visited South Korea, Japan, Israel and Egypt with the Joint Services Organization and the U.S. Department of Defense. She has also performed on live television on Monday Night Football and the Miss Texas pageant. She began her career as a model before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time.

Jones made her screen debut in 2000 on the Saturday morning television sitcom City Guys (1997-2001). Later that year, she landed a co-starring role in the comedy series Girlfriends (TV series, 2000–2008), alongside Tracee Ellis Ross, Golden Brooks, and Persia White. In May 2006, Jones reportedly left the Girlfriends franchise due to the expiration of her contract.

After leaving the “Girlfriends” series, she began starring in films, starring in “The Perfect Vacation” (2007). Also in 2007, she filmed Movie Star (2008) with Jessica Simpson. In late 2008, she appeared in Ne-Yo’s “She Got Her Own” video, a remix of Ne-Yo’s hit single “Miss Independent”.
